Step-by-Step Guide: How to Onboard with Rauva

Step 1: Open Your Account

  • When you click “Open your account” via the mobile app or web, you will be redirected to the onboarding platform at http://welcome.rauva.com.

Step 2: Specify Your Business Status

Let us know if you already have a company or if you want to create one.

  • If you want to create your company with Rauva, select “I’m an aspiring entrepreneur, ready to start a business”, and we’ll guide you through the process!
  • If you already have a Company (Unipessoal or Sociedade por Quotas) or are a Freelancer, choose “I already run a business” to proceed.

Step 3: How can we help you?

Select which features you need:

  • Business account and invoicing tool
  • Accounting services*
  • All of the above*

*if you select this option, we will contact you and help through the process!

Step 4: Choose Legal Structure

  • Select Company or Freelancer.

Step 5: Confirm Your Role (For Companies Only)

  • Choose Director or Legal Representative.
  • Note: Only directors or legal representatives can create a Rauva account.

Step 6: Create Your Account

  • Enter your personal details (full name, email and phone number).

Step 7: Validate Your Phone Number

  • You will receive an SMS verification code.
  • Enter the code to proceed.

Step 8: Select Your Plan

  • Click “Select Plan” and choose between Charged or Supercharged.

Step 9: Provide Business Information

For Companies:

  • Enter Business Name, NIPC, and Legal Type.
  • Provide Registered Business Address.
  • Describe your Business Industry and Expected Monthly Income.

For Freelancers:

  • Enter Business Name and NIF.
  • Describe your Business Industry and Expected Monthly Income.
  • Upload Proof of Registration.

Step 10: Add Shareholder Information (For Companies Only)

  • Confirm your User Role and Share Ownership.

    Add details for all shareholders:

    • Full name, Date of Birth, City and Country of Birth, Country of Residence.
    • Upload Proof of Address (if applicable).

Step 11: Provide Personal Information

For Companies:

  • Enter your Full Name (as stated in ID), Date of Birth, City and Country of Birth, Country of Residence.
  • Upload Proof of Address (if applicable).
  • Proceed to SWAN Verification.

For Freelancers:

  • Enter your Full Name (as stated in ID), Date of Birth, City and Country of Birth, Country of Residence.
  • Enter your Personal Address.
  • Upload Proof of Address (if applicable).
  • Proceed to SWAN Verification.

Step 12: Complete SWAN KYC Verification

  1. You will be redirected to SWAN KYC Verification on the web.
  2. You will receive an SMS with a follow-up link.
  3. Complete the KYC verification.
  4. Your dashboard will update to “We’re processing your information”.

Step 13: Repeat KYC If Needed

  • If required, your dashboard will update to “Repeat ID verification”.
  • Follow the same SWAN KYC steps to resubmit your verification.

Step 14: Additional Information (If Required)

  • If more details are needed, your dashboard will remain “We’re processing your information”.
  • You will receive an email from Support requesting further information.

Step 15: Final Verification and Account Access

  1. Once verification is complete, your dashboard will update.
  2. You will receive an email confirmation granting access to your account.
